Irish singer Brian McFadden has thanked fans for their well-wishes as he heads off on honeymoon with his new wife after their weekend wedding.
The Australia's Got Talent (AGT) judge married model Vogue Williams in Florence, Italy on Sunday in front of guests including fellow AGT judges Kyle Sandilands, his best man, and Dannii Minogue.
The Italian nuptials reportedly followed a registry office ceremony in the couple's native Ireland last week.
McFadden has now spoken out for the first time about his wedding, thanking fans for their messages of congratulations.
In a post on Twitter, he writes, "Thanks to everyone for there (sic) well wishes. We had the best day ever. Thanks to all my family and friends for making our wedding so special."
He later posted a picture of himself with his new wife as they set out on their honeymoon. McFadden didn't reveal their destination, but told followers they are travelling by rail, adding, "Mr and Mrs McFadden on the train."
Williams tweeted her thanks to "everyone for your well wishes," saying she had had an amazing day.She also thanked Australian designer J'Aton Couture for her wedding dress, adding "I'm gonna keep wearing it around the house I love it so much!!!!"
