Kim Kardashian's dreams of landing a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame have been dashed.
Hollywood Chamber of Commerce officials have advised her to start acting before they'll even consider her for a footpath honour.
The socialite recently told V Magazine she wanted to become the first reality TV star to unveil a plaque on the footpath - but she has to do a lot more than just be famous, according to the bigwigs who select the honourees.
A spokesman for the Chamber of Commerce tells The Hollywood Reporter, "Part of criteria in being honoured is receiving awards such as Emmys, SAG Awards, Oscars ... in the category of television, live-stage performance or motion pictures."And they have to have a career in the business of acting for five years or more."
