Kiwi actress Keisha Castle-Hughes has announced she is engaged.
The 22-year-old actress, who was nominated for an Academy Award in 2004 for her role in Whale Rider, posted a picture of her engagement ring on her Twitter page on Thursday with the words: "He liked it so he put a ring on it".
Castle-Hughes, who most recently starred in New Zealand television series The Almighty Johnsons, is reportedly engaged to Jonothan Morrison.
She was previously in a turbulent relationship with Michael Graves but they split in February after he was charged with assaulting her. The charge was later dropped.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
