DeGeneres lands Walk of Fame honour

Comedian Ellen DeGeneres, who is married to Australian Portia de Rossi, is set to be honoured with her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

DeGeneres will unveil the 2477th star at the famous intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street on September 4.

Fellow talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will serve as a guest speaker at the ceremony.
