Manu enjoys Perth

Celebrity chefs Manu Feildel and Pete Evans made no secret about enjoying a Chinese lunch in Perth yesterday.

Evans posted a snap of a wide-eyed Feildel downing a mouthful of steamed tripe, naming the venue as Xintiandi Chinese restaurant, in Francis Street, Northbridge.

Along with the photo, Evans wrote: "Manu enjoying some good tripe in Perth. Xintiandi chinese restaurant. The snake beans with pork, the steamed tripe with carrots an (sic) the cucumber salad rock!!"

The photo fuelled suspicion that the pair are in Perth to film the fourth season of Seven's reality cooking series My Kitchen Rules, after the Melbourne-born chef tweeted last Thursday: "First day of MKR 4."

The network has since confirmed that they are in Perth filming the series.
