The champagne corks will be popping at the offices of Mix 94.5 today.
The Subiaco-based station has regained its crown as Perth's number one radio station in the latest ratings released this morning.
The last survey saw a revitalised 96FM take the top spot from Mix 94.5, who had spent 100 surveys at the top.
However, the much trumpeted win was short lived with Mix 94.5 gaining 1.7 percentage points to give them the lead with 15.1 points while 96FM lost 2.2 points overall to 11.7 points, now sitting at third behind Mix 94.5's sister station 92.9 who grew 0.8 points to 12.4 points.
Mix 94.5 saw big gains across the board, with 1 point rise for breakfast, 1.5 point rise for mornings and a 2.2 point spike in afternoon and drive.
96FM lost significant points across all its time slots, except evenings, with the biggest loses coming from afternoon (3.5 points) and morning (2.9 points).
92.9's nationally syndicated drive shows – featuring Fifi Box and Jules Lund, Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O and Hamish Blake and Andy Lee, stayed as Perth's number one drive shift with an increase of 1.3 points to 15.6 points.Eoin Cameron's breakfast show on ABC720 surged forward 1.2 points to maintain his position as the king of early morning radio, while 6PR's breakfast show with Steve Mills saw one of the surveys biggest gains, of 2.3 points, taking his slot to the third most listened to breakfast show with 12.2 points.
