Travolta hits back on sex assault claims

John Travolta

John Travolta has hit back at the cruise ship employee who claimed the actor sexually assaulted him three years ago.

In June, Fabian Zanzi launched a lawsuit against the 58-year-old star claiming that he had exposed himself during a neck massage while on board a Caribbean cruise. He also said the actor offered him $US12,000 ($11,352) to keep the incident quiet.

According to TMZ, Travolta's lawyer filed court documents on Friday claiming that Zanzi's accusations are false.

In the documents, Travolta admitted he was on the cruise but denied any wrongdoing.

He also reiterated that Zanzi failed to mention details of the alleged sexual assault incident when he made his initial complaint to the shipping company.

Travolta is now demanding that the lawsuit be dropped and that Zanzi cover his legal costs.
