Thieves stole gold necklaces and diamonds worth around $US200,000 ($A205,920.21) from Guns N'Roses frontman Axl Rose as the singer gave a private concert in Paris, a police source said Wednesday.
The theft late Tuesday enraged the 50-year-old singer from the US supergroup and police were called in to calm the situation, the source said.
Rose held his private gig, attended by around 100 people, after a public performance at Bercy stadium.
The singer is the only remaining member of the original line-up of the rock band that was formed in Los Angeles in 1985 and whose best known songs include November Rain, Patience, and Sweet Child o' Mine.'The West Australian' is a trademark of West Australian Newspapers Limited 2013.
