Bocelli is a dad

Opera star Andrea Bocelli has become a dad to a baby girl.

The blind Italian tenor's fiancee and manager, Veronica Berti, gave birth to the couple's first child on Wednesday.

The new arrival, Bocelli's first daughter, is named Virginia, according to Life & Style magazine.

The singer has two teenage sons, Amos and Matteo, with his ex-wife Enrica Cenzatti.
