Seann William Scott has reportedly asked his Victoria's Secret model girlfriend Lindsay Frimodt to marry him.

A source told Life & Style that the 35-year-old American Pie star is delighted to be settling down with Frimodt.

"Seann asked her to marry him on Valentine's Day and she said yes," the insider revealed.

The Hollywood actor recently maintained that he is nothing like his foul-mouthed womanising character Steve Stifler in his American Pie movies.

Scott said that he had no interest in chasing the opposite sex as he is committed to his girlfriend.

"I have a girl in my life, so I think she'd be really p**sed," he told News Limited.

"But I was never really able to take advantage of being an actor, because I was always too shy to talk to girls."

Scott reportedly dated actresses Jaime King and January Jones in the past before finding "the one" in Frimodt.
