Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill has been banned from playing rock music during the delivery of his first child.

Followill and his model wife Lily Aldridge are set to become first-time parents later this year, and the Sex On Fire singer wanted to welcome the baby into the world to the sound of rock group Queens of the Stone Age.

However, Aldridge is hoping for a more calming atmosphere.

"I wanted Queens of the Stone Age but she's not into it. I want the baby to come out rocking," Followill tells Britain's The Sun.

"Lily would prefer other genres on delivery day - she listens to a lot of classical."

Followill married Aldridge last May.
