West Coast Eagles' star player Dean Cox has married his girlfriend of three years, Kerry Lavell in a ceremony in Margaret River.
Beautician Lavell wore a white strapless fishtail gown, accompanied by a pastel bouquet of flowers to the 5pm ceremony at Leeuwin Estate Winery.
Despite the extreme summer weather, about 230 guests descended on Leeuwin Estate in Margaret River for the 5pm ceremony.
Cox's uncle George Michalczyk, a former Australian rules player, was set to be the emcee at the big event, which hosted guests such as Chris and Rebecca Judd.
"We are coming back for Christmas and we have got two weddings to go to," Rebecca Judd told thewest.com.au recently.
"Dean Cox's wedding and a former Carlton player who used to play with Chris, Richard Hadley. He is a Perth boy who moved back to Perth (and now plays for East Fremantle) after Carlton.
"We have Dean's wedding one day and Richard's the next and then we're down in Margaret River for New Year's Eve. I can't wait."
Cox spent the hours before his wedding relaxing on the golf course.
The 30-year-old and some of his close friends and family hit the green at Margaret River Golf Club this morning ahead of the wedding.
