Matrix up on new contracts worth $US48.2m

UPDATE 3.40pm: Shares in one-time market darling Matrix Composites & Engineering were higher after the company announced new contracts worth $US48.2 million.

The contracts are for the supply of products and equipment for the oil and gas and shipbuilding industries.

Matrix shares closed up 5.5 cents, or 2.91 per cent, at $1.945.
