WA uranium hopeful Energy and Minerals Australia has appointed former GME Resources managing director David Varcoe as its new chief.
Mr Varcoe replaces Chris Davies who was sacked by EMA's board in June last year in an attempt to breathe life into the stuttering development of EMA's Mulga Rock uranium project in the north-eastern Goldfields.
The company has been dogged by a legal challenge in the Warden's Court over ownership of Mulga Rock.
Mr Varcoe resigned from GME Resources in March and finished with the company on Friday last week.
EMA shares were off 0.1 cent, or 1.11 per cent, to 8.9 cents at 12.40pm.The new magazine for a new generation of West Australians.Click here to download the current edition »
