Silver Lake Resources says it has made 24 positions redundant as part of its merger with Integra Mining.
The jobs have been lost at the two companies combined Mount Monger/Randalls operations in the Goldfields.
Silver Lake said the redundancies would save the company $3.5 million a year.
Silver Lake also said Integra's six-member board had resigned on January 1 and the company's corporate office was in the process of being closed with required employees being integrated into the merged entity.
"These savings are expected to be about $5 million per annum," the company said.
Overall, the merger is expected to deliver annual cost savings of between $30-$40 million.
