Orbital says it has won another contract to supply heavy fuel engines for use in Small Unmanned Aircraft System, or drones as they are commonly known.

"This latest order will take the total revenue value for SUAS engines and spare parts to over $10 million for the current financial year," the company said in a statement.

Orbital managing director and chief executive Terry Stinson said the small unmanned aerial systems market was an emerging market for Orbital.

Orbital shares were off half a cent to 23.5 cents at 9.35am.
