NRW wins $100m Qld contract

NRW Holdings says its subsidiary Action Drill & Blast has won a $100 million, three-year contract to supply explosives and blasting services to John Holland Group's Isaac Plains operations.

The Isaac Plains mine is in Queensland's Bowen Basin and is a 50/50 joint venture between Vale Australia and Ocean Coal Mining.

Action Drill & Blast has been operating on the Isaac Plains project since early July on a short term contract.

NRW shares were up three cents, or 1.39 per cent, to $2.19 at 8.35am.
