Forge has appointed Donald Montgomery as the company's new chief financial officer.
Mr Montgomery joins the engineering group from QR National, where he has been chief financial officer of the freight division since 2009, will take up the role in October.
Existing chief financial officer Andrew Bell will retain his role as company secretary and take up the new role of executive general manager: finance.
Forge managing director and chief executive David Simpson said Mr Montgomery's appointment effectively concludes Forge's management transition plan which aimed to renew the company's executive capabilities.
Prior to QRN, Mr Montgomery held executive finance positions across the Leighton Contractors Group of companies.
