Quickflix strikes deal with LG

Quickflix says it has signed an agreement with LG Electronics to make its streaming movie service available to millions of internet connected devices in Australia and New Zealand.

The deal will make the company's digital service available through connected LG televisions and blu-ray players.

Quckflix said it would make its service the most accessible in the region for subscription pay-per-view movies and TV shows.

Shares in the company were off two cents, or 6.25 per cent, to three cents at 8.45am.
