Lend Lease has won a 170 million-pound ($A263 million) contract to construct two buildings in central London, at the site of the former Kingsgate House.
The first block will be a 12 storey commercial and retail building and the second a 14 storey apartment block, which are expected to be completed in 2015, the company said on Friday.
The project also involves the demolition of the existing building.
Lend Lease will undertake the project with Land Securities.
