Body found in East Cannington

Police forensics officers are at a house in East Cannington after a man's body was found at the weekend.

St John Ambulance paramedics arrived at the Redcliffe Street battleaxe property about 8.30am on Saturday and found the man’s body.

Major crime squad detectives spent the weekend at the home investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.

Forensic officers were still there tonight looking for clues in the house and the long driveway that leads to the home.

It is understood the man is aged in his 30s.

The death is being considered as suspicious but is not being treated as a suspected homicide.
