A 75-year-old woman was robbed of her handbag as she shopped in a supermarket last night.
Police are circulating CCTV footage in their investigation, in the hope that public can help identify a person of interest in the theft from a shopping trolley at IGA Applecross.
The victim was shopping in the store about 7pm when the handbag, containing cash and other items, was stolen from her shopping trolley.
Police believe the woman shown in the photos may be able to assist with the investigation.
She is described as being mid to late 20s, fair skinned, about 167cm tall, medium build, dark hair which at the time was in a ponytail.
She has a tattoo on the back of her right hand and was wearing a dark singlet, long pants and black thongs.
