Police are looking for the driver of a car that crashed into a house in Hillarys last night.
About 8.30pm, police received reports that a Nissan Navara ute had smashed through the garage door of a family home on Waterford Drive.
It is believed that the car was travelling at great speed when it turned on to the street and lost control.
A police spokeswoman said the crash caused a wall to collapse but there were no reported injuries.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. Police do not know if there were any passengers in the car.
The young family living in the house were unhurt and stood in the street, watching emergency services assess the damage and remove the car.
SES workers were called to the house to ensure the structure of the garage was safe before the car was towed out.
A witness said that the engine of the green ute had been modified.
Inquiries are continuing and police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
