One Direction is the latest band to reportedly be going on hiatus.
But fans needn't worry - the hit UK group will only be taking a three-month break while they recharge for their next round of touring.
The boys - Harry Styles, 19, Zayn Malik, 20, Niall Horan, 20, Liam Payne, 20, and Louis Tomlinson, 21 - are said to have struck a deal with their managers that gives them an extended holiday until mid-March when they begin tour rehearsals for their 2014 dates.
The chance to catch up with family and friends may come as a relief to the former X Factor UK contestants, whose jam-packed schedule for their Take Me Home tour saw them play 131 shows in 2013.
"The lads are dead on their feet," a source told The Sun.
"They've completed a huge world tour and done endless promo in between.
"They approached management to work out a deal. Given their success, they could hardly disagree and understood entirely. It was all sorted on good terms."
After their break, the band will kick off their Where We Are tour in April with dates in South America, North America and Europe.
