For the 50th wedding anniversary of Nicole Kidman's parents, Keith Urban gave a rather personal gift when he sang for guests at a Sydney party celebrating the milestone.
The US-based star couple flew into their native Australia at the weekend with their two kids Sunday, five, and Faith, two, in tow to attend yesterday's bash honouring the golden anniversary of clinical psychologist Dr Antony Kidman and former nurse Janelle.
Close friends and family gathered at the Middle Harbour Yacht Club in the waterside suburb of Mosman for the low-key event, including Kidman's journalist sister Antonia and her family.
But despite the understated atmosphere, Grammy-winning country singer Urban added a dose of star power when he reportedly performed for his in-laws as wife Kidman watched on.
The busy family is expected to stay in Sydney over Christmas before Kidman goes into production for her next film Strangerland, which begins filming in central Australia next year, and Urban continues shooting the next season of American Idol, which debuts next month.
