Horses and dolphins and seals, oh my!
Early morning visitors to Whitford beach were treated to a unique display this week when two horses, a pod of dolphins and a seal all swam along the beach together for about half an hour.
Padbury resident Chris Andre took a snap of the special sight about 7am during his morning jog and swim as a crowd of more than 15 people gathered to look.
"The first thought was, 'Is that a shark?' But I stood there watching and I realised it was a seal," Mr Andre said.
"Then a fin appeared and I knew it was a dolphin but the girl on the horse asked, 'Are you sure it's not a shark?' It was pretty amazing. It was like the dolphins were trying to protect the horses."
Mr Andre said it was rare to see a seal at Whitford beach.
