Oprah Winfrey is glad she never had any more children.
The chat show queen gave birth to a premature baby boy when she was 14 but he died after a few weeks.
She thinks her success would have negatively affected more children.
"If I had kids, my kids would hate me. They would have ended up on the equivalent of the Oprah show talking about me; because something (in my life) would have had to suffer and it would've probably been them," the 59-year-old told The Hollywood Reporter.
She also said she was very ambitious compared to her best friend Gayle King.
"Gayle was the kind of kid who, in seventh grade home-ec class, was writing down her name and the names of her children. While . . . I was having daydreams about (being) Martin Luther King," she said.
Winfrey previously opened up about her childhood in 2011 and said: "Getting pregnant was a result of bad choices, not having boundaries, sexual abuse from the time I was nine, 10, 11, 12 and 13 . . . When the baby died, I knew that it was my second chance."
