A man is expected to appear in Northbridge Magistrate's Court this morning on indecent dealing charges.
A 14-year-old girl was shopping at Coles supermarket in Butler at 3.30pm on Monday when she felt someone touch her inappropriately.
Police allege that the same man who had touched her then bumped into her outside the store and appeared to be following the girl.
The girl left the shops in a car with her mother, and the same man appeared to be following their car while driving a white van, police allege.
The incident was reported to police, who launched an investigation.
The following day, a 13-year-old girl was shopping at the same supermarket around 6.30pm when she felt someone touch her inappropriately.
Police allege that shortly after, a man approached the girl attempting to strike up a conversation and asking how old she was.
The man then left the store and the incident was reported to police, who believed the events were linked.
Around 5.30pm yesterday, police attended a Jindalee gym and located a 26-year-old person of interest to their investigation.
He was arrested and police executed a search warrant on his Quinns Rocks home.
The man has been charged with two counts of indecent dealing of a child between 13 and 16.
His bail was refused.
