Mel B can't wait to come back to Perth.
The former Spice Girl said she had scheduled in a return later this year when she will attend the Perth Fashion Festival, where she was the star guest last year.
"I am booked in to do that. It is in my calendar," Mel B told AAA Weekend excitedly yesterday.
"I absolutely love Perth. Our good friend, Tony Sage - we go visit him a lot in Perth. We like him and we like Perth."
One thing Mel couldn't confirm though is whether she will reunite with her former girl band mates at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics.
"All I can say is that it will be denied or confirmed in the next few days," she said.
What Mel could say is that a version of the Spice Girls' musical Viva Forever (written by Absolutely Fabulous' Jennifer Saunders) might make it Down Under after it has opened on London's West End in December.
"We would like nothing more than to have the Spice Girls musical touring," she said.
"Whether it is coming to Australia or going to Japan, that is actually our ultimate dream.
"If you can't get over to London when it opens in December, hopefully, if everything goes to plan, it will be on tour very soon and in Australia very soon."
The mother of three is currently in New York working on the next series of Seven's The X Factor which is set to begin after the Olympics.
She said she had been wowed by the level of talent this year.
"There is so much more talent. Honest to God, it is quite shocking actually," she said.
With so much happening in the next year, including working on a new album, Mel said wasn't sure if she would return to host Dancing with the Stars again next year.
"Whether they bring me back next year, you will have to ask Channel 7," she said with a laugh.
"I thoroughly enjoyed myself though, it was a great show."
