Worker dies after being run over by steamroller

A worker in Britain has been killed in an horrific accident after he fell from the steamroller he was driving and was run over.

The man aged 56 is thought to have slipped and fallen out of the front of the steamroller.

Witnesses called emergency services but the man died at the scene, Britain's Daily Mail reported.

A spokeswoman for Great Western Ambulance Service said: "We got a call on Monday morning at 8.14am with a report that a male in his 50s had fallen from a roller.

"He was not conscious or breathing due to traumatic injuries that he suffered.

"When our staff arrived, they confirmed that the patient was deceased at the scene.
