Campaigners against a proposed coalmine in Margaret River have posted footage on their website of Hugh Jackman saying the South West town is the best place he has been to in Australia.

In the clip, Jackman tells an interviewer about his love for Margaret River.

"The surf, the beaches, the food, the wine, the people, the air - it's all good," he says.
