Fast food roof standoff in Perth's south
A 28-year-old Hilton man has been charged with trespassing after a rooftop stand-off with police in Warnbro yesterday.
Police were called to the McDonald's fast food outlet on Warnbro Sound Avenue just after 2pm.
They arrived to a find a young man standing on the roof of the store, refusing to come down.
Police negotiators were called in to coax the man down and they succeeded after nearly three hours.
The 28-year-old has been charged with two counts of trespassing.
He is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on Friday, February 27.
