Witnesses to fatal crash wanted

Police are calling for witnesses to a crash which claimed the life of man in Williams earlier this month.

Just after midnight on February 10, the man was driving his Holden Rodeo ute west along Pinjarra-Williams road, about 2km east of Williams-Darkan Road.

The man left the road and travelled along the gravel verge before crashing into a tree.

Witnesses tried to help the man from the vehicle, but the car caught fire before they could get him out.

The driver, who was believed to be a 26-year-old Williams man, died at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the car before to the crash is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
