Organisers hope a flock of painted ducks will fly out the door at an art auction dedicated to raising money for victims of domestic violence.
Artists and local personalities have rallied together to have a bit of fun while supporting a serious cause with the Duck Project at the Heathcote Centre in Applecross next weekend.
Artists Garry Zeck, Rebecca Cool and Leon Pericles, footballers Darren Glass, Mark LeCras and David Wirrpanda, performer Ernie Dingo, garden guru Sabrina Hahn and butcher Vince Garreffa are among those who have painted wooden ducks for sale.
Zonta Club of Perth northern suburbs president Letitia Depiazzi said about 120 ducks would be auctioned, following past events when teapots and platters were painted.
The colourful fowls' titles include the cricketer Out for a Duck, the soaked Water Off a Duck's Back and the aviatrix Amelia Ear-duck.
Entry to the Duck Project is free at Heathcote from 1.30pm to 4.30pm on Saturday.Funds would go towards women's refuges, children's camps and other strategies associated with domestic violence, Mrs Depiazzi said.
