Hunt for Highgate sex attacker

Police are hunting an attacker who broke his way into a Highgate home and sexually assaulted a 22-year-old woman.

The man forced open a window of the home on William Street, covered the woman's mouth with his hand and sexually assaulted her at 3am on Sunday.

The man fled the home after the attack.

He is described as being aged between 30 and 35 years old, about 180cm tall and fair skinned. He was wearing dark cargo pants and a dark hooded jacket during the attack.
