Police are searching for a man who held up two pizza shops with a kitchen knife in the southern suburbs last month.

The armed robberies happened on the night of Saturday, January 5, at Domino’s Pizza in Willetton and Eagle Boys Pizza in Success.

The man entered the Domino’s on Rostrate Avenue, brandishing a large kitchen knife and carrying a McDonalds paper bag at about 8.45pm

A staff member handed over an amount of cash and he fled the store on a black sport motorcycle.

A few minutes later, he entered the Eagle Boys on Beeliar Drive and became aggressive when the staff member could not open the cash register.

He was last seen leaving the car park in a northerly direction on his motorcycle.

Police have released an image of the thief, who was described as in his 30s and between 170 and 180cm tall.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
