Toddler death accused in court

A man accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend's two-year-old child over the Christmas period has made a brief appearance in court.

Wayne Murray Narkle, 22, appeared by video link from Hakea Prison in the Stirling Gardens Magistrate's Court this morning charged over the toddler's murder last month.

Narkle was not required to enter to plead to the charge and he will next face court on March 27.
