A man has indicated he will plead not guilty to the murder of Boulder businesswoman Veronica "Ronnie" Messina.
Paul Michael Banbery, 52, appeared in the Stirling Gardens Magistrate's Court by video link from Hakea Prison where he indicated he would be pleading not guilty to the murder of 62-year-old Ms Messina.
He is accused of murdering his former housemate some time between June 25 and 26.
Police found Ms Messina's body in dense bushland off the Goldfields Highway, about 10km north of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, in July last year.
