Police hunt Edgewater robber

Police are hunting a masked bandit who robbed a store in Edgewater last night.

The man who was armed with a knife and wearing a balaclava walked into the liquor store at Edgewater Shopping Centre about 8pm.

He threatened the shop assistant and demanded money from the till.

After he was handed a sum of cash, he demanded the shop assistant lie down on the floor before he fled.

The man was wearing a bandana and red jumper with dark jeans.
