A young woman who allegedly ran down her father in Lakelands, near Mandurah, has pleaded not guilty to his murder.

Appearing briefly today in Stirling Gardens Magistrate's Court via video link from Bandyup Prison, Veronika-Leigh Meleane Pahuru, 19, pleaded not guilty to one count of murdering her 41-year-old father, Kaiawa Eric Pahuru, on July 20 this year.

It is alleged she ran him over and killed her father during a dispute.

Her lawyer Anthony Elliott said he would not be making a bail application at this stage.

Miss Pahuru was remanded in custody and will make her first appearance in the Supreme Court in February next year.
