Two charged over Burswood fracas

Two men have been charged over a fracas at Burswood involving security staff.

About 3.40am today security staff removed a number of people from Crown Perth after an altercation inside.

Shortly after a second altercation involving some of the same people began outside with another group.

About 15 patrons and 20 security guards became involved in the confrontation.

A number of security staff received cuts, lacerations and bruising as a result.

Two people were detained by security officers and taken into custody by police.

A 23-year old-man from Aubin Grove has been charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.

A 21-year-old man from Warnbro has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and two counts of common assault.

Both men are due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on December 19.
