Five WA artists have put their own spin on the traditional Christmas tree for charity.

Cale Mason, Megan Isabella Guise, Zac Collopy and Zenifa Bunic and Nadia Paulse from interior design group Id By Mono were recruited to create the 2m-tall trees now on display at the enex100 centre in the city.

The artists were given their freedom over the design, provided it was done within the colour theme of white, black and orange.

Each tree is available for online auction, with the proceeds going to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, the Cat Haven, Parkerville Children, Youth Care and Silver Chain.

Ms Bunic said her tree featured hand-crafted ornaments, including perspex snowflakes cut into shape with a laser.

"It was surprisingly much harder than we thought to come up with something simple and bold," she said.

The trees will be on display in the Hay Street mall centre until Christmas Day.
