Stroke, spinal injuries at Perth beaches

Paramedics were called to two popular Perth beaches today to treat a man who suffered a stroke and a 12-year-old boy with suspected spinal injuries.

St John Ambulance was called to City Beach about 9am after the man suffered a stroke at the beach.

Lifeguards were at the scene.

The 12-year-old boy was treated by lifeguards at Cottesloe Beach for a suspected spinal injury just before 1pm.
