Police are conducting foot patrols across Fremantle after an armed robbery on an adult book store this afternoon.
At 12.55pm, a man and woman entered the Underground Bookshop on Elder Place and demanded cash.
It is understood the man was armed with a firearm and pointed the weapon at a staff member's head.
Staff complied with the couple's demands and handed over cash.
A shop assistant chased the couple, but did not catch them as they ran north along Elder Place.
The man has a fair complexion, is 180cm tall and aged between 30 and 40 years old and wore a black shirt.
His female accomplice is aged in her mid 40s and wore a grey long-sleeved shirt.
