Teens involved in out-of-control party

STAFF REPORTER, The West Australian November 11, 2012, 8:30 am

More than a dozen teenagers were taken to Midland Police Station after officers were called to an out-of-control party last night.

Police received a report at 11pm that a "large number" of youths at a party on Red Gum Avenue in Bellevue were causing a disturbance on the street.

"About 50 young people were found in the street and most were moved on from the area without incident," a police spokesperson said.

Thirteen juveniles aged between 14 and 16 years allegedly "made no effort to leave the area" and were taken to the police station until they were "handed over to responsible adults".

No one was charged.
