A police dog tracked down a 17-year-old girl allegedly responsible for a burglary in St James yesterday afternoon.
Police allege the girl broke into a home on Humphrey Street about 4.30pm, setting off an alarm.
The girl reportedly left the house wearing jewellery and carrying other stolen items and tried to hide on a nearby property.
Police dog Geoffrey was deployed and tracked down the teenager.The girl has been charged with burglary and is due to appear in Perth Children's Court on November 22.
