Man 'crushed felling trees' in SW

Worksafe is investigating after the death of a logging worker in Boyup Brook.

The man is believed to have been crushed while felling trees at a site in the town when he died.

Worksafe said in a statement today that its inspectors would interview witnesses and investigate the circumstances of the death.

WorkSafe WA Commissioner Lex McCulloch said any work death was a tragedy and sent his condolences to the man's family.
