Man dies on Kimberley station

A man has died after falling into a feed bin on a station near Broome last night.

Police were called to the incident at Kilto Station, on Great Northern Highway, about 50km south of the town, at 6.20pm.

A WorkSafe spokeswoman this morning confirmed two investigators had been flown to the Kimberley to examine the incident.

She said it was understood the man was from the UK but had worked at the station for a couple of years.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
