Teens charged over city attack

Two teens have been charged in relation to a brutal attack on a man in Perth at the weekend.

The 28-year-old victim was on William Street in the early hours of Sunday morning when he was allegedly attacked by the pair.

The victim sustained a large gash to his neck, believed to have been caused by a broken beer bottle. He underwent surgery on Sunday.

An 18-year-old male from Maddington has been charged with acts or omissions causing bodily harm or danger and a 19-year-old from Mirrabooka has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.

Both males will appear in court at a later date.
