Attempted murder charge for Beverley man

A 56 year old Beverley man has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly attacked a man with two kitchen knives.

He allegedly entered the Richardson Street property, in Beverley, armed with two kitchen knives and stabbed the 59 year old victim on July 28.

The victim was at home with his wife and five children when the alleged attack took place.

He suffered scratches to his arms and neck but managed to disarm the man until police arrived.

The man will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on August 20.
